About Us
- Savannah, Library Clerk -
Savannah is a librarian clerk at the Cardston, Jim and Mary Kearl Library but, she also gets to help plan and participate in the children's programming! Her favorite stuff right now includes going on crazy adventures, listening or playing enchanting music, eating, and making great food! She loves the fairy tale stories that she has heard since she was a child, she wants to share her love of books and how a book can be the opening to a new world in our lives that we presently might not know of yet! She is ecstatic to be able to work with her friends Sally Side-saddle and Miss Liz!
- Liz, Children Programming and Outreach -
Liz Bectell, also known as “Miss Liz” at the library, is the Children’s program and outreach facilitator. She lives on a beautiful ranch with her family of almost grown up kids, and husband, as well as a whole lot of barn cats, 3 horses, a herd of cattle and a border collie named Sage. She loves sharing her passion for literacy and creative learning with the wonderful patrons at the library and in the community. She likes hanging out with her puppet Sally Side-saddle and her side kick Savannah doing fun programs. She received her BSc. of Speech Language Pathology at BYU. Her favorite treat right now is Caramel Apple pie mini blizzards from DQ and she is learning to love yoga.
